Fox looking for the next Masked Singer in Korean format showcase at BCWW 2026

The Masked Singer originated on Korea’s MBC

Applications are now open for Korean production companies to pitch potential hit unscripted formats to Fox Entertainment at an event in Seoul next month.

Korean production companies participating in the BCWW 2026 business matching programme that are capable of international sales, coproduction and development are being encouraged to apply.

Applicants must hold global rights to their unscripted formats and must be capable of submitting materials in English as well as conducting pitching and Q&A sessions in English. Production companies wishing to participate must apply by August 24.

The pitching session will take place during BCWW 2026, hosted by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and co-organised by the Korea Creative Content Agency and Coex, this September in Samseong-dong, Seoul.

Fox has teamed up with the event to allow Korean production companies to present their projects directly to an international buyer and potentially explore opportunities for international co-development, coproduction and distribution.

Companies selected through submission review will participate in the pitching showcase hosted by Sophie Leonard, executive VP, unscripted, Fox Television Network, and Sam Stacey, senior VP, unscripted, Fox Television Network, on September 15.

Winning companies will also receive follow-up business discussions with Fox, including the potential for joint format development.

Fox is participating in this showcase to discover new K-formats with potential global appeal, building on its adaptations of Korean formats including MBC’s King of Mask Singer and Mnet’s I Can See Your Voice.

“Korea continues to be one of the world’s most exciting sources of original unscripted ideas, consistently creating formats that reach and engage audiences across cultures,” said Leonard.

“At Fox, we’re always looking for bold concepts with creative ambition and the potential to travel globally, and we’re excited to partner with BCWW to discover the next generation of standout K-formats and bring them to audiences around the world.”
